Hexagon Shaft Mounted Abrasive Nylon End Brushes

Abrasive nylon wheel brushes and cup brushes can be manufactured in a variety of sizes, grit types and abrasive loadings. The abrasive grit encapsulated in the extruded nylon filament provides a linear brushing path for deburring, surface finishing and edge blending of the workpiece.

Hexagon Shaft Mounted Abrasive Nylon End Brushes are available in a wide range of diameters measured across the flared brush part from 1'' up to 3''. Suitable for severe cleaning applications such as removal of heavy scale, corrosion, weld spatter and rust.

Abrasive Nylon
Hexagon Shaft Mounted Abrasive Nylon End Brushes are used with rotary sweeping systems. These brushes have four, eight or twenty-two nylon whips attached to a machine-mountable base.

The hexagonal whips scrape the sides of channels, removing dirt and debris. They are also strong, but soft enough not to damage a channel.

They are available in a wide range of diameters and trim lengths to meet a variety of applications. They can be used with a variety of tools including VMC, HMC and CNC machines.

Nylon abrasive brushes are made from a heat stabilized nylon carrier that is extruded with an abrasive grain. Common types of abrasive grains include ceramic media, cubic boron nitride (CBN), diamond and silicon carbide.

Nylox
Hexagon Shaft Mounted Abrasive Nylon End Brushes are an excellent choice for cleaning and deburring in hard-to-reach areas. They are ideal for applications requiring minimal operator interaction, and are non sparking, making them a great alternative to metal wire brushes.

Nylon end brushes are heat resistant and contain abrasive nylon bristles that are impregnated with abrasive grains. As the nylon wire wears away it will reveal new abrasive grains making these brushes a long lasting and consistent use alternative to metal wire brushes.

Designed for moderate to light stock removal on a variety of materials these are perfect for nooks and crannies in your tool arsenal. Available in gray (80 grit), red (120 grit) and blue (240 grit) to suit your needs.

Knot Style End brushes feature crimped or knotted wire in carbon steel, stainless steel, and tempered stainless steel. They come in a variety of face widths measured across the flared brush part, and can be equipped with bridles to control the brush face.

Knot Wheel
Knot Wheel End Brushes can be used with Hexagon Shaft Mounted Abrasive Nylon End Brushes to remove dirt and debris in hard-to-reach areas such as in-between seats, gas cap compartments, in-between beds and bumpers on pick-ups and intricate engine compartment detailing. They are also great for dusting around stereo knobs and vents.

BRM also offers knotted wire and crimped wire, abrasive nylon, Tampico, and mandrel-mounted wheel brushes. These power brushes feature tufts that absorb vibration and reduce fatigue.

These wheels are available in a variety of face widths, fill materials (wire--carbon steel, stainless steel; synthetic; Tampico; and cord), and diameters. The length of the fill material or trim, as well as the density of the fill, can affect how a wheel works and where it is best suited for a particular job.

Type 27 Max Flex Cotton Fiber Wheels feature multiple cotton fiber layers that are impregnated with aluminum oxide grains and then bonded together. These flexible abrasive wheels blend and finish flat and contoured surfaces in one step without the use of a pad, producing an even smoother surface. They are available in 4-1/2 in, 5 in, and 7 in sizes in A36 and A54 grits.

Wheel Brushes
Wheel Brushes use a linear brushing motion for blending, polishing, cleaning, and deburring applications. These brushing tools are available in various widths, circumferences, and bristle materials to meet specific operation requirements.

BHA offers wheel brush filaments made of brass, carbon steel, stainless steel, nylon, abrasive nylon, and natural fiber (Tampico). The material chosen depends on the base metal of the workpiece and your surface finishing requirements.

These brushes are used to clean oxidation film, smooth and polish abrasive surfaces, polish non-metallic materials, and deburr. They also can be used to polish chrome parts for a more shiny look and finish.

Brushes are a great alternative to metal wire brushes. They can be used dry or wet and do not spark, which helps protect the work piece. They can also be used in temperatures of up to 350° F. They are encapsulated with polyurethane to minimize dust generation and provide better cut resistance.
